Librarian Exposed! CLICK ON THE SMALL IMAGES FOR A LARGER PICTURE You will remember that it was earlier in the year that we first drew the attention-seeking activities of librarian Lyn Sims to your notice. She had been attempting to raise money by pretending to be a nun. This ploy proved very successful and she was even caught by our photographer flaunting her habit in the college resource area. Since this, she has maintained a fairly low profile, but........... We have discovered that Lyn and her accomplice Judith, following after-dark sessions in the Tupsley area, had travelled to London and met up with like-minded people living in the same twilight world. As can be seen from the photographs, they waited until nightfall, removed most of their clothes and paraded through the darkened streets. Students of this college have been persuaded to support these unsavoury activities, and one of our photos shows a shameless Lyn being presented with a cheque for £100 by members of the student committee. Lyn Syms (HLC) raised £502 and Judith Golby (Brightwells) raised £367 All funds raised went to Breakthrough Breast Cancer (Research) and the Bristol Cancer Help Centre (Cancer Care). This 2002 Playtex Moonwalk was the 5th, and has grown from a small team of 65 pioneering power walkers in 1998 to 10,000 this year. Well done!!! Somehow a male version making us aware of prostate troubles wouldn't have had quite the same appeal.
